There were 464 new real estate listings taken in the North Okanagan in April 2021, leading to a total inventory of 783 available properties (all statistics from AIR). During April 2021, a total of 382 properties were sold, totaling $238,494,255 in dollar-value. This is up just slightly from last month, when 381 properties valued at $208,794,979 were sold.

Focusing on the residential market, there were 177 residential properties sold in April 2021, totaling $117,815,611 in value. Residential property sales therefore accounted for just under 50% of all transaction dollars this month. April residential sales increased over March 2021, when 160 residential properties were sold ($104,652,204).

There were 205 new residential listings in April 2021. At the end of the month, inventory of available listings was 196 total residential listings. The average days-to-sell for residential properties (of all types) was 29 days, which is a significant change since last month’s days-to-sell of 52 days. The average price of residential properties sold in April 2021 was $665,625 (median price of $603,000).
